Before boarding your flight to the Dominican Republic
As of April 1, 2021, all passengers entering and departing are required to fill out digital forms through the Electronic Ticket Portal before their arrival. You will need to fill out a form for arrival and another form for departure, so the system will generate two QR codes. If you need to make a change to the form, you must fill it out again. The airport authorities will scan the codes when you go through Customs.
Landing at (SDQ) Airport
Once your plane lands, you will walk off the plane with other passengers and follow signs to Immigration ("aduanas" in Spanish). Please have QR codes, passport, and custom cards filled out with the following:

Wait in Line at Immigration
At Immigration, you will stand in line until asked to present your passport. Give the officer your passport and they will stamp it. You’re in the DR!
Follow signs to Baggage Claim and wait at the carousel assigned to your specific flight. Find this carousel by following others from your flight, checking a monitor, or asking airport staff.
If you didn’t check a bag, keep walking to exit the airport by passing through Customs.
Exit through Arrivals Hall - You made it!
Proceed to the Arrivals Hall, exiting through the sliding glass doors. We are expecting you!

Parque Nacional los tres Ojos
45 minutes drive from Juan Dolio. Los Tres Ojos National Park is a beautiful natural respite near the city, and where you can observe the underground caverns of the Tainos that were once used as a refuge or place of ritual. A stairway leads to a series of caves, with paths hugging three iridescent blue
freshwater lagoons, or “ojos” as the Tainos used to call them because of their oval shapes. A fourth lagoon is accessible via a small wooden barge, which reveals a magnificent open-air landscape with rock formations covered in lush vegetation. Keep an eye out for petroglyphs and handmade pottery.
Open hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Entrance fee 200 pesos per adult, children fee depending on age.
Cueva de las Maravillas
30 minutes drive from Juan Dolio. Located between San Pedro de Macorís and La Romana, this massive cave system is home to hundreds of well-preserved Taino pictographs and petroglyphs dating back thousands of years. It is one of the most accessible caves in the Dominican Republic thanks to its excellent lighting system, ramps and path. Stroll among impressive samples of rock art, stalagmites and stalactites, which have given it the name "Cueva de Las Maravillas".
Isla Saona
One hour drive from Costa del Sol to Bayahibe town, the only way to get into the island is by boat. Located 19 kilometers south of the mainland, the beautiful beaches of Isla Saona attract more visitors than all the Dominican national parks combined. A protected area of 110 km2 and part of the Cotubanamá National Park, Saona is a dreamy tropical escape, where long beaches of brilliant white sand and its giant coconut palms seem to melt into iridescent turquoise waters. Day trips to enjoy the beaches can be made through a variety of options ranging from speedboats to catamarans. Navigating along the impressive landscape of Saona is something that is worth it.
Most of the excursions leave from the beach of the town of Bayahíbe. Excursions to Saona include a stop at Palmilla, a stretch of white sand with a wide natural pool, and another stop at Mano Juan, the only populated part of this island. Saona Island is also the most important turtle nesting site in the Dominican Republic. Reservation must be requested 48 hours in advance
Macao Offroad
2 hours drive from Juan Dolio to Macao Offroad experience’s ranch. Great buggy and 4wheels (ATV) excursions. Reservation must be requested 48 hours in advance. 3 departures a day 9 am, 11 am. & 2 p.m. Guests must be at the ranch half an hour before departure time.
Santo Domingo Colonial Zone
1 hour and 25 minutes drive each way. If you have your own car this is a very simple ride you can do, if you need to request a trip with one of our driver reservations requested 24 hours in advance.
